Lamy Launches Harry Potter Collection

Lamy has launched its first licensed collection this autumn: Lamy AL-star x Harry Potter. With a total of four models, the collection will inspire all writing enthusiasts and creative fans of the famous boy wizard.

The design of the four models is inspired by the four houses of the famous Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Each fountain pen features the unmistakable colour scheme of the houses and has a fine engraving and an image of the respective heraldic animal on the cap and barrel.

The Lamy AL-star x Harry Potter Gryffindor, with its warm bronze colour and artistic flower engraving, represents courage, bravery and determination. The Lamy AL-star x Harry Potter Ravenclaw model comes in a clear blue colour with a leaf engraving and embodies wisdom, ambition and willpower. The Hufflepuff fountain pen is finished in a sophisticated gold tone with engraved branches, which represents loyalty, patience and devotion. A fountain pen in mystical moss green with the familiar snake engraving symbolises the house of Slytherin, whose students stand out through their charisma, pride and cleverness.

The collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Consumer Products is the first licensing cooperation for Lamy and a further step in the company’s mission to inspire even more people to write by hand: “The cooperation with Warner Bros. Discovery is the first international brand cooperation of this magnitude. It is set to last several years in order to appeal to new target groups with a wide range of selected models and accessories from the LAMY portfolio,” says Lamy coo/cfo Peter Utsch. In the coming year, further exciting new products from the collaboration in the field of young writing are therefore set to follow, transporting Lamy’s most popular writing classics into the magical world of Harry Potter.
