New Release For The Caran d’Ache x Nespresso Collab

The two Swiss companies collaborate for the newest 849 Caran d’Ache + Nespresso Special Edition pen made from recycled Nespresso capsules.

This is the 6th edition in the successful Caran d’Ache and Nespresso collaboration, this time using recycled Nespresso Kazaar capsules, which gives the pen a monochrome, metallic midnight blue colour. The body of the pen, made of recycled aluminium, is engraved with the phrase ‘A recycling story is in your hands’.

The 849 Caran d’Ache + Nespresso Special Edition comes in 100% recycled and recyclable cardboard, with an innovative internal design to avoid the use of glue. And with a nod to its origins, the packaging has a cut-out in the shape of a Nespresso capsule.

Isabelle Clerc-Gippet, sales and marketing director for Caran d’Ache said of the new edition: “It was a pleasure to have collaborated with Nespresso for this new 849 Special Edition. As Swiss companies with a strong concern for sustainability, we share common values and synergies. Working with recycled materials gives us the opportunity to continue innovating in our manufacturing process, which has been a driving force for our Maison since the beginning”.
