Once Upon A Tuesday celebrate their Stationery Matters awards win

Once Upon a Tuesday won Children’s Stationery Product of the Year with their ’Co-Parenting Family Planner for Kids 12 month’. We spoke to them about their experience at London Stationery Show.

The Stationery Matters awards took place at London Stationery Show, overall how was the show for you?
It’s been really interesting because its our first show, so its a big learning curve to see what people are interested in and the questions they ask and what they want to see.

What has been your top moment from the show?
We had some really interesting buyers on the first day, I had one key buyer that I was hoping for and they came so that was exciting! And of course we won a Stationery Matters award!

How do you feel about your win?
It’s great! It’s so nice to be recognised!

What do you think set your product apart from the rest of the finalists?
It’s a co-parenting calendar so its specifically for children with two homes so it means that children have some control over where they’re going to be at what time, especially if parents work shifts or if grandparents are involved. So its kind of a solution to a problem that I had and I created that. I think it’s the only one in the world so it’s pretty different!

Can you give us an overview of your top three products from the show?
The new password book was very popular, which has just released here [at the show] and basically it’s just what everyone who ends up in that black hole of passwords needs. It works the same as an address book but just for your passwords, so I think its going to be a great gift this year, everyone needs this in their lives!

The habit tracker is also really popular and generally our calendars, especially the family planner with its five columns and lots of colour! Its nice to have interest in lots of our products.
