Industry Recognition Awards – A night like no other!

BOSS, the voice and representative body of the UK’s office supplies industry, were delighted to virtually connect almost 400 individuals within the business supplies sector at their Industry Recognition Awards, which took place on the 26 November 2020.

Picture 2The Federation provided a virtual environment where individuals could network with other guests on private tables or connect with all other attendees over video chat, in addition to visiting the BOSS virtual bars. With an interactive cocktail making session, Paul Sinha as the host, a virtual Disco, photobooth and auction area, the evening was a night of virtual celebration like no other.

Amy Hutchinson, BOSS CEO commented, “Thank you to all in the industry who joined us virtually on the evening of the 26 November for the Industry Recognition Awards. We feel privileged that almost 400 of you donned your finest attire (top half only) and logged in to recognise and celebrate the individuals and teams who have gone above and beyond in our sector throughout 2020. Congratulations to all of the winners for some truly outstanding achievements this year.”

The Awards were supported by 3M, Antalis, Channel Info, Dealer Support, BPIF, CDI, BOSS Business Supplies Charity, ECI, HP, OPI, OT Group and VOW Wholesale.

Discuss, Debate, Network: COVID-19 and its future impact on the business supplies sector
The Leaders of the Future (LOTF) committee held a dynamic half-day conference prior to the Industry Recognition Awards with 100 attendees logged in to hear industry leaders speculate what 2021 holds for the sector, and also discuss their experiences of managing and leading their teams throughout the pandemic. With a focus on looking to the future and safeguarding mental health over the coming months, debate and discussion was lively. Videos from all sessions on the day can be accessed here.
