Behind The Brand: Once Upon A Tuesday

Once Upon A Tuesday creates stationery for people who want to organise their life in style. Having recently celebrated getting BCorp accreditation, the team is looking forward to showing its new products ranges at the London Stationery Show.

Once Upon A Tuesday’s signature style is firstly colourful, but always stripped back and fuss free. Everything is made in the UK and sustainability is something at the heart of the business, with the company gaining BCorp status earlier this year.

“We want to make items that add value to the world and take as little away from it,” says creative director, Michele Ferron. “We print everything in the UK, using a number of different printers who specialise in specific areas, some of which are in Cornwall where we’re based. We have strict criteria with our printers, everything we print must be from recycled materials and be recyclable whether this is paper or for our acrylic planners.”

It was this desire to do business as sustainably as possible that led to the company going for BCorp status. “We are committed to meet the highest standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability and this is why we became a certified BCorp,” comments Michele. “We are finding more and more retailers want to buy from a BCorp out of a desire for transparency from the brands they stock.”

Once Upon A Tuesday’s core products are dated products; calendars, planners, diaries. The rest of the range is all about planning and organising – from desk planners to medication trackers, notebooks to habit trackers.

“Our pop of colour really stands out, our variety as well as the niche products we offer,” says Michele. “We love all sorts of design and take inspiration from fashion runways, interior design and architecture and the art world. We like to think our design style is quite varied but always considered. We design products that we would buy ourselves and therefore really get critical of what detail we put into it.”

At the London Stationery Show, the brand will launch its complete 2025 collection of diaries, planners and calendars. Plus lots of new notebooks and planner pads. “We’re also excited to launch our first collection of 12” x 12” calendars and magnetic planners,” says Michele.

“We love the show; seeing familiar faces and meeting new people. We spend so much of our time behind our computers, it’s just great to get out and show our products we have been working on in real life.”


Once Upon A Tuesday is exhibiting on stand G210 at the London Stationery Show, 14 – 15 May at the Business Design Centre. Visitor registration is now open and is free for retailers, buyers, dealers and other resellers of stationery. It is not open to the general public.
