Entries close Thursday 16 May for the prestigious Innovation Excellence Awards from The Stationers’ Company.
The awards are a unique opportunity for businesses or individuals to celebrate innovation excellence in their fields and to raise awareness for their company or brand. Through the awards, the Stationers’ Company recognises the key role the communications and content industries play in the UK economy, highlights outstanding innovation in the sector and offers the opportunity to share best practice.
The awards are open to all sectors from the communications and content industries including journalism, newspaper and magazine publishing, packaging; paper making and paper converting, printing, academic and information publishing, fine stationery, greeting cards and office products and related intellectual property, archival, and digital born businesses.
The awards have six categories, including start-ups. Entries do not have to be UK registered, but should have products and/or services that are in the UK market, and there is a new category for EdTech entries this year. The categories are:
- Business Process
- Communications including Marketing
- Customer Experience
- Educational Technology (‘edtech’)
- Product Design
- Start Ups
Entry to the awards is free, and the overall award of Innovator of the Year is made to one of the six category winners.

Instead, it focuses on introducing novel ideas or enhancing existing ones to meet the needs of customers, industry demands, and societal changes. Innovation is a vital means for organisations to remain relevant, competitive, and responsive in their respective industries and we want to celebrate it,” said Vida Barr-Jones and Kate Howell, Innovation Excellence Awards, Co-Chairs.
The winners will be announced at a champagne awards event on 11 October 2024.
